The Journal of Clinical Hypertension Selected as an Official Journal of the American Society of Hypertension, Inc.
The Board of Directors of the American Societyof Hypertension, Inc. voted today to name The Journal of ClinicalHypertension, published by Le Jacq, Ltd., as an official journal of itssociety.


Hypertension: percentage of patient visits during which either systolic blood pressure is greater than or equal to 140 mm Hg or diastolic blood pressure is greater than or equal to 90 mm Hg, with documented plan of care for hypertension.
This measure assesses the percentage of patient visits with documented plan of care for hypertension, among all patient visits for patients aged greater than or equal to 18 years with diagnosed hypertension during which either systolic blood pressure is greater than or equal to 140 mm Hg or diastolic blood pressure is greater than or equal to 90 mm Hg.


Hypertension: percent of eligible patients with an active diagnosis of hypertension whose most recent blood pressure (BP) reading was BP greater than or equal to 160/100 or not recorded (NEXUS clinics cohort).
This measure assesses the percent of eligible patients with an active diagnosis of hypertension whose most recent blood pressure (BP) recording was greater than or equal to 160/100 or not recorded.
